My unique range of textile prints are hand printed using a silk screen onto Irish linen. My work is about a sense of discovery and magic in nature. I like to observe and to investigate the natural forms, patterns and details that are intrinsic to our world.
My designs are based on themes which enables me to thoroughly develop ideas as well as indulge in what truly enthuses me. I wish to convey the sense of connection and belonging we have in our landscape, whether it’s a brief encounter or long lasting relationship. I am a bit of a day dreamer and glory in rummaging around the countryside looking for new ideas. In other words, doing what I love in the place I love!
The linen is sourced in Ireland, is ethically produced and has been a big part of our manufacturing history for the last few centuries.
I set up my business at the end of 2013, I love being part of the whole process, from idea to packaging, ensuring I have a quality piece of art for each home. I live and and work in Carlingford, County Louth, at the foothills of the Cooley Mountains.
